On 27 November 2014, the AEMC published a final rule determination in respect of the rule change request from the Australian Energy Market Operator in relation to portfolio rights trading in the Victorian declared wholesale gas market.
In light of a number of matters which have arisen since the draft rule determination, the Commission is not satisfied that the proposed rule would promote the national gas objective. As a result, the Commission has determined not to make the proposed rule.
