The AEMC has decided to not make a rule in relation to the Aligning Network and Retail Tariff Structures for Small Customers rule change request.

The AEMC considers that existing arrangements set out in the National Electricity Rules address the key issues raised in the rule change request, and in a way that enables consumers and retailers to engage with distribution businesses to influence the design of network prices.
