The AEMC has today commenced the Release of Generator Information by AEMO Rule change, under the standard Rule change process.

On 15 July 2010 the Commission gave notice under section 95 of the National Electricity Law of its intention to initiate assessment of the Release of Generator information by AEMO Rule change. This Rule change proposal seeks to bring forward the date when AEMO may release certain information to third parties, where that information relates to generation plant currently in the process of being connected to the network.
