The Australian Energy Market Commission will hold a public forum in the Melbourne CBD on 8 July 2019 to discuss the 2019 Coordination of generation and transmission investment (COGATI) review.

The Commission will release a directions paper for the COGATI review on 27 June 2019. This directions paper will provide detail on the need for transmission access reform, as well as the Commission’s proposed approach to access reform.

The public forum will provide all stakeholders the opportunity to discuss the proposed access reform, and for the Commission to gather feedback from stakeholders on the directions paper. Interested stakeholders can register for the forum here before 6 July 2019. Further details and an agenda will be available shortly.
