On 20 June 2011, the Commission published a new version of the National Gas Rules. The current consolidated version of the Rules is Version 10, incorporating the National Gas Amendment (STTM Data Validation and Price Setting Process) Rule 2011 No. 2. which commenced operation on 16 June 2011.

On the 16 June 2011, the Commission published Version 9 of the National Gas Rules. Version 9 consolidated the National Gas Amendment (Minor Changes) Rule 2011 No. 3, however emitted consolidation of the National Gas Amendment (STTM Data Validation and Price Setting Process) Rule 2011 No. 2 which commenced operation on the same day.

Version 10 seeks to rectify this by including both the National Gas Amendment (STTM Data Validation and Price Setting Process) Rule 2011 No. 2 and the National Gas Amendment (Minor Changes) Rule 2011 No. 3 which both commenced operation on 16 June 2011.
