On 5 April 2012, the Commission published Version 49 of the National Electricity Rules to incorporate the following Rules made by the Commission:

• National Electricity Amendment (Network Support and Control Ancillary Services) Rule 2011 No. 2
• National Electricity Amendment (Negative Intra-Regional Settlements Residue) Rule 2012 No. 2
