On 23 May 2017, the Commission made the National Electricity Amendment (Transmission connection and planning arrangements) Rule 2017 No. 4 and on 19 September 2017, made the following Rules:
- National Electricity Amendment (Managing the rate of change of power system frequency) Rule No. 9
- National Electricity Amendment (Managing power system fault levels) Rule 2017 No. 10
- National Electricity Amendment (Generating system model guidelines) Rule 2017 No. 11
A number of schedules for these rules do not take effect until 1 July 2018. The document below contains an indicative consolidated version of Chapter 5 of the National Electricity Rules (NER) as amended by the above four rules to indicate how Chapter 5 will appear from 1 July 2018.
These indicative consolidated amendments are based on version 99 of the NER. This version of the NER is provided for information purposes only. The relevant final rules referred to above should be consulted for complete and accurate details of the amendments and relevant commencement dates.
