The Reliability Panel (Panel) has published an issues paper on the review of the reliability standard and reliability settings.

This current review is to consider the reliability standard and settings that should apply from 1 July 2016. The Panel will review the reliability standard, which is currently set at 0.002 per cent unserved energy, and the reliability settings, which are the market price cap (MPC), the cumulative price threshold (CPT), and the market floor price.  Consideration of the method with which the MPC and CPT are indexed is also included in the review.

Submissions on the issues paper are due on 21 June 2013.
