The Reliability Panel has completed its review of the template for generator compliance programs. On Wednesday 27 June 2012, the Panel published a final report and the revised template. The template was initially developed by the Panel in 2009 and the Panel has made some minor amendments to the template as a result of this review. These amendments are to help clarity the purpose of the template, clarify specific provisions in the template and improve its ease of use.

The National Electricity Rules provide up to six months for generators to modify their compliance programs to be consistent with amendments to the template. As the amendments are minor, the Panel considers the changes to the template will not have significant operational impacts on participants.
