In accordance with section 99 of the National Electricity Law (NEL), on 25 February 2010 the AEMC published its draft Rule determination, including a Draft Rule, in relation to the Cost Recovery for "Other" Services Rule Change.  The Commission has determined not to make the Rule proposed by the Rule Proponent and instead to make a proposed more preferable Rule based on the position jointly put forward by AEMO and the NGF.

Under section 101(1a) of the NEL, any person or body may request that the Commission hold a hearing in relation to the draft Rule determination. Any request for a hearing must be made in writing and must be received by the Commission no later than 4 March 2010. 

Submissions on this draft Rule determination and associated Draft Rule must be received by 5:00 pm on 8 April 2010.
