On 20 June 2013 the AEMC received a rule change request from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) seeking to amend the governance arrangements for the development of electricity retail market procedures.

The AEMC has now commenced consultation on this rule change request. It has also published a consultation paper to facilitate stakeholder feedback on the rule change request.

Submissions are due by the close of business, 21 November 2013.
