On 22 September 2011, the AEMC published a Directions Paper in relation to the Potential Generator Market Power Rule change.

On 12 October 2011, the AEMC held a public forum held in Adelaide to invite discussion on the issues raised in the Directions Paper. The AEMC has published stakeholder presentations from the public forum.
