Background

On 2 May 2005, Macquarie Generation submitted to NECA a proposal to amend the National Electricity Code to review the Snowy regional boundary.

On 1 July 2005, the Commission acquired responsibility for the proposal under the National Electricity Law (NEL) transitional provisions.

Under Section 94.2 of the NEL the Commission decided not to proceed with this proposal.
