On 24 November 2016, the AEMC received a rule change request from AEMO that sought to amend the National Gas Rules (NGR) by including physical constraints on scheduled withdrawals in the pricing schedule for the Victorian Declared Wholesale Gas Market (DWGM).

The rule change request from AEMO has been consolidated with the rule change request from the Victorian Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change that seeks to simplify wholesale prices in the DWGM.

The consolidated rule change request was initiated with the publication of a consultation paper on 14 March 2019. The consolidated rule change request is available at the link below.
