The Reliability Panel has published an issues paper on the reliability standard and settings guidelines (the guidelines).  The guidelines will describe the principles and assumptions the Panel will use when it reviews the reliability standard and settings.  The next review will commence in early 2017.

The Issues paper provides an overview of what may be considered in the guidelines, including:

  • an analytical framework to guide the Panel’s determination of the standard and settings;
  • a description of the matters the Panel will consider in each review ; and
  • a methodology for any modelling the Panel uses in each review.

Stakeholders are invited to make submissions to the issues paper by 11 August 2016.  Stakeholders are welcome to request a meeting to discuss specific issues in more detail, if they consider this would help in the process of consultation.
