The Australian Energy Market Commission today released an updated version of the National Electricity Rules incorporating two recent Rule changes made by the Commission.

The updated Rules - Version Four - incorporate the ;

• National Electricity Amendment (Statement of Opportunities Update) Rule No.5
• National Electricity Amendment (System Restart Ancillary Services and pricing under market suspension) Rule No.6.

Both Rules were made on 20 April 2006 and commenced operation on that date.

Version Four is the most current version of the National Electricity Rules and replaces Version Three.
