The AEMC, in collaboration with the Australian Energy Research Institute, will hold a public forum on Wednesday 29 August 2012 in Sydney.

The AEMC has commenced the process of updating its Strategic Priorities for Energy Market Development, and is providing stakeholders with the opportunity to share their views when considering the challenges and priorities for the Australian energy market over the coming years.

The forum will be opened by the Hon. Martin Ferguson, Minister for Resources and Energy, followed by presentations from a range of key senior industry and consumer representative stakeholders, several group discussions, and will finish with a light lunch.
