At its 26 October 2018 meeting, the COAG Energy Council requested that the Australian Energy Market Commission (AEMC) analyse the impacts of the Commonwealth’s proposed default offer. This included advice on competition issues and customer impacts including price for both standard and market customers in New South Wales, South East Queensland and South Australia.
