The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is a transmission pipeline located in the eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia. It is owned by the DBP Development Group (DDG), which is a subsidiary of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG).
The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is 123 km in length and has a capacity of 337 TJ/day. Chevron’s Wheatstone Domestic Gas Plant obtains processed natural gas that originates from the offshore North West Shelf. Afterwards the pipeline is used to transport the natural gas from the Wheatstone Gas Plant to the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP).
The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR.
The Wheatstone Ashburton West Pipeline was completed in December 2014.
