WA: Red Gully Export Gas Pipeline

The Red Gully Export Gas Pipeline is a pipeline located approximately 1km north of Gingin townsite in south-west Western Australia.

It is owned by Empire Oil Company and was built in 2012. It is a 113.3mm outside diameter pipeline and is 3.2km long. The pipeline runs to the Red Valley Gas and Condensate Processing Facility. The pipeline has the capacity to transport up to 30TJ/d. No pipeline services are provided, directly or indirectly, to any person other than the service provider for the non-scheme pipeline (that is, Empire Oil Company). The Red Gully Pipeline is a non-scheme pipeline and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 20 June 2023, the ERA granted a five-year Category 1, 2, and 3 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR for the Red Gully Pipeline.
