WA: Kens Bore Gas Pipeline

The Kens Bore Gas Pipeline (KBGP), also known as the Kens Bore Lateral Gas Pipeline, is a transmission pipeline located in the Pilbara region, Western Australia. It is owned by Onslow Infraco Pty Ltd and operated by APT Goldfields Pty Ltd.

The KBGP is 15.5 km in length, 168.3 mm in diameter, and delivers a maximum capacity of 25 TJ/day.

The KBGP transports natural gas from the inlet station / offtake facility at Warramboo Creek Station on the Goldfields Gas Pipeline to the outlet station / delivery station at Kens Bore Mine Site.

The KBGP is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the National Gas Access (WA) Law and Part 23 of the National Gas Rules (WA) (NGR (WA)).

The WA Economic Regulation Authority granted Category 1 and 2 exemptions under Part 23 of the NGR (WA) for the KBGP that apply from 25 November 2024 to 31 December 2029.
