The Kalgoorlie GDS is a natural gas distribution network that serves the Kalgoorlie-Boulder area. The Gas Distribution System is connected to the APA Group’s Goldfields Gas Pipeline (GGP). The Kalgoorlie GDS has 7500 connections with an average daily flow of 0.6 TJ/day.
The Kalgoorlie GDS is currently a non-scheme distribution system, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR.
In 2011, ATCO acquired the Kalgoorlie GDS from the WestNet Infrastructure Group (formerly known as Alinta Gas).
