The HiSmelt Lateral Pipeline is a distribution pipeline built in 2004 and owned by APA Parmelia.

The pipeline is 8" (22cm) diameter pipeline that is 1.4km. Its operating pressure is 5.61Mpa MAOP. The Hi Smelt Lateral Pipeline interconnects with the Parmelia Gas Pipeline mainline and is a single shipper pipeline. The HiSmelt Lateral Pipeline is currently a non-scheme pipeline and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under Chapter 6A of the NGL and Part 23 of the NGR. On 8 May 2023, the ERAWA granted a five-year Category 2 and 3 exemption under Part 23 to the HiSmelt Lateral Pipeline.
