The LYB Lateral Gas Pipeline is an approximately 13 kilometre gas pipeline from the withdrawal point on the Victorian Transmission System to Loy Yang B Power Station (for start-up gas) and Valley Power Station (a gas-fired power station adjoining Loy Yang B Power Station).

The LYB Lateral is a single user facility as it is a third party access facility.

The LYB Lateral is currently a non-scheme pipeline and subject to the access regime under Part 10 of the NGR. On 12 July 2023, the AER granted a five year Category 2 exemption under Part 10 of the NGR for the pipeline.
