The Kincora to Wallumbilla Pipeline (KWP) is a transmission pipeline located in south-east Queensland. The pipeline is owned and operated by Armour Energy.

The KWP is 53 km in length, and has a diameter of 219 mm and a capacity of 30 TJ/day.

The KWP transports gas from the Kincora gas plant to the Roma to Brisbane Pipeline at Wallumbilla. Gas is sourced from several nearby gas fields in the Bowen-Surat basin.

The KWP is currently a non-scheme pipeline, and is subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines Part 10 of the National Gas Rules (NGR). It was previously subject to the access regime for non-scheme pipelines under the former Part 23 of the NGR, which was replaced by Part 10.

The AER has granted the following exemptions for the KWP:

• On 26 September 2018, a five year Category 1, Category 2 and Category 3 exemption under Part 23 of the NGR.
• On 18 October 2023, a five year Category 1 exemption under Part 10 of the NGR. Due to reforms to the NGR, the exemption transitioned to a Category 1 exemption under Part 10 of the NGR.

In 2000, the Commonwealth Minister (being the relevant minister) revoked coverage of the KWP under the Gas Code as recommended by the National Competition Council (NCC).

The KWP was constructed in 1977. It was owned and operated by Origin Energy, which ceased operation in 2012 and kept the facilities on a care and maintenance basis. In 2016, the KWP was sold to Armour Energy, who then recommissioned the pipeline in 2017.
