The National Energy Retail Rules govern the operation of the national energy retail market. The Rules have the force of law, and are made under the National Energy Retail Law.
Copies of the National Energy Retail Rules are available for inspection at the AEMC's office in Sydney. The National Energy Retail Law can be found at the South Australian Legislation website.
The current consolidated version of the Rules is Version 24, incorporating:

• National Energy Retail Amendment (Minor changes 2) Rule 2020 No. 4
