The AEMC is currently considering the features of a new framework that could facilitate the sharing and better utilisation of dedicated connection assets (DCAs). Following the interest our earlier webinar on the Connection to dedicated connection assets rule change generated, stakeholders are invited to provide further input into the proposed new arrangements for DCAs prior to the publication of the draft determination and draft rule on 26 November 2020. For this purpose the AEMC will hold a second stakeholder webinar on 6 October 2020. The webinar will outline the direction being considered by the AEMC and will seek stakeholders’ views on a number of specific issues. Stakeholders are invited register their interest to attend the webinar below.
