Rule Making Process

In considering changes to the National Energy Retail Rules, the AEMC follows a similar procedure as for considering changes to the National Electricity Rules and the National Gas Rules.

Generally, there are four stages to the rule making process. Detailed descriptions of each stage of the process are available by clicking on the individual links below:
